The Coach in Coatyc is an artificial intelligence, not a human trainer. Texts such as the plan notes, workout reviews and coach replies are generated by AI.
What it can see
To answer, the coach is given your messages and the parts of your profile, plan, training history and health summaries that are relevant to the request, and the facts you let it remember (coach memory). You can read, edit and delete these facts in Coach memory.
What it can do
Suggest and explain training, readiness and recovery.
Propose changes to your plan, preferences and fitness numbers. Nothing changes until you confirm the proposal.
Write a review of a finished session from its recorded data.
Limits
It can make mistakes or misread your data. Treat its output as a suggestion.
It gives no medical advice. See the health and medical disclaimer.
It does not take decisions about you with legal effect.
Where the AI runs
Requests go from our servers to OpenRouter, a routing service, which passes them to the DeepSeek language models that power the Coach: the chat, your first plan, workout reviews and the Coach page note. If the main model is not reachable, a second model of the same family answers. The coach searches the web only when you ask it to. Our own database stays in Germany.
